I bought a Pelican Bass Raider 10e for the pond on my property up
north.  It's powered by a Minn Kota 55lb thrust Endura Max motor. Should
be fun catching some bass in it.  It's maiden voyage will be in a few weeks.

Cool. I like the idea of the sliding seats. Looks like it has plenty
of wells for storage.

Nice review of the motor:

Why do you think he had a conversation with a salesman?

Are leaky seams a widespresd problem with that brand of boat? It seems to me
that you bought an aluminum boat with the wrong kind of aluminum and or
rivets, for your intended use.

Do you really think you have any helpful boating advice to offer?

Do You think you'll be missed when your avenue to rec.boats shuts down its
portal?

Avoiding freezing weather is a no brainer. Ask Fat Harry how to do it. But
don't let him give you financial advice or you'll be so so so sorry.

True.  Most people reviewing them never use them.  Those that do, claim
condensation for the reason, not leaks.  The seams dumb Don refers to
are well above the waterline.

I would think that there must be a mechanism to equalize air
pressure within the pontoons. Otherwise the boat could burst if
left on a hot sunny beach for the day, or collapse when dunked in
the cold water after baking in the sun.

I bought it "used" for a fraction of the retail price.  The guy that I
bought it from bought never used it.  The trolling motor was unopened,
and the boat will had factory plastic covering the motor mounts.  He had
a heart attack and his wife doesn't want him boating by himself, so no
salesmen were involved.  I'm thrilled you spent your precious time
searching for everything some random people complained about.  What a
pathetic life you live.  No, it doesn't freeze here, and it's for
limited use on my private pond - not large lakes or rivers.

Now, YOU lost your ass on at least two boats that YOU said salesmen
talked you into.  The $450US I paid for this is nothing to me and I'm
sure it will serve me well.

Nice try, asshole!

His blunders aren't limited to boating. I wonder if his paint salesman
talked him into pailting his entire house in puke tone yellowish green?
Theres no doubt that a tent salesman talked him into that pup tent on

Aren't you the gullible fella who let a salesman talk him into a
16ft Bayliner propelled by a Mercury bigfoot barge
motor?
That wasn't the only boat fail. He's not a smart guy.
His blunders aren't limited to boating. I wonder if his paint salesman
talked him into pailting his entire house in puke tone yellowish green?
Theres no doubt that a tent salesman talked him into that pup tent on
wheels. Did he ever buy that electric powered dolly wheel to aid his wife
with her boat pushing duties? I'm oin to miss Donnie; in a way he's almost
as big a klutz as Fat Harry.

Duh, Ditzy!
It was Toyota who called it a truck and since they built the RAV4 I'd say they are more qualified to identify it's category than a desk clerk at Elite Contractor Supply in Floriduh.

Nice review of the motor: http://youtu.be/dL8LY9ZFYJs
Looks like the same boat. Storage isn't a big deal. My pond is less
than 1/2 acre. I'm looking forward to trying it out.
What salesman talked you into that? Snerk!
Didn't y'all read the reports on leaky seams? Good thing y'all don't get freezing weather down there.
Wow, I must have embarrassed y'all big time for y'all to concoct that elaborate story. SNERK!

Speaking of being embarrassed, do you still think Tim is dead? Are you still unable to discern the real posters from the spoofer?

Just asking...

than 1/2 acre. I'm looking forward to trying it out.
What salesman talked you into that? Snerk!
Didn't y'all read the reports on leaky seams? Good thing y'all don't get freezing weather down there.
Wow, I must have embarrassed y'all big time for y'all to concoct that elaborate story. SNERK!
I would think one of those pedal style swan boats would be more appropriate for your muddy puddle and boating skills.
Speaking of being embarrassed, do you still think Tim is dead? Are you still unable to discern the real posters from the spoofer?
Just asking...
:)
Not sure who you're talking to... the spoofer.
Tim's dead.
Tim is not dead.
Yes he is. Spoofer alert!!

Nice review of the motor: http://youtu.be/dL8LY9ZFYJs
Looks like the same boat. Storage isn't a big deal. My pond is less
than 1/2 acre. I'm looking forward to trying it out.

Stop thinking - it never works for you.  Everything I posted is 100%
true, but you don't understand the concept of researching before you
make a purchase.  You rely on salespeople (well documented by you) to
make decisions for you.  It has cost you thousands that you can't afford
to lose.
